Chart notes
PEGGYSUE I LOVE U , eased off the inner rail near the half mile pole, stayed in the two path on the turn, closed outside STARSHIP VOYAGER the final sixteenth of a mile and was up approaching the finish. STARSHIP VOYAGER sprinted clear early and was taken to the inner rail, set the pace and gave way grudgingly. SPICY GUACAMOLE , four deep on the turn, chased the pace, drifted out in mid stretch and failed to rally in an even effort. MEAN TO ME bumped with GO GO STAR leaving the starting gate, saved ground on the turn, moved to the two path approaching the stretch and had a slight rally. SPIRIT OF VICTORY , steadied when getting out at the break, circled the turn three wide, floated to the four path turning for home and failed to rally. XENON chased the pace, raced in the three path on the turn and weakened. SUGAR TREAT stayed along the inner rail on the turn and retreated through the stretch. GO GO STAR bumped with MEAN TO ME at the start and was outrun.
