Chart notes
INDY ONE moved in quickly to take control on the fence at the five-furlong pole, opened up at will while well within himself throughout the turn and with a couple of taps right handed in mid-stretch won going away by an impressive margin at the wire. ISAAC LEO was content to track the pacesetter on the outside down the backstretch, could not gain on the frontrunning winner even though asked for more by the three eighths pole and chased the winner in vain down the stretch comfortably besting the rest at the finish line. REGGIE BOY had a rail trip in midfield in the early stages, was roused but could not match strides with the front two who had it to themselves with two furlongs from home and finished up willingly to hold for a distant third in the end. FUN FELLA broke a step slow to see the field at the start, offered a mild rally on the fence three furlongs from the finish, dueled inside for a minor share in upper stretch and finished up with good late interest trying to close in but missed out in getting up for the show money. DILWAALA was nudged along watching the top pair holding the third place along the backside, came under a ride outside a foe making little headway on the turn and made little presence inside runners down the lane. PRINCE ROYCE travelled three deep in a stalking role ahead of only the poor starter, was relegated to the rear outside horses into the turn, lost ground to the pack going around the oval and could not be a factor in the stretch run.
