DIALBOLICO chased five to six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn coming under urging at the three-eighths marker, angled six wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. MACKVILLE five paths off the inside down the backstretch just off the pace dispute up front, tucked three wide into the turn and advanced to vie outside a pair of rivals, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and took over narrow command before spinning four wide into upper stretch, lugged in inside the three-sixteenths despite a left handed crop forcing MAJESTIC ARC to take brief hold off his heels and alter out, dug in under threat and was headed a sixteenth from home, then weakened in the very late stages. SHAKIN THE BELLE coaxed from the gate, chased four then three wide under coaxing from the three-eighths pole, went eight wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild bid but was outkicked. MAJESTIC ARC fractious in the gate prior to the start, vied four paths off the inside between foes down the backstretch and then just off the inside through the turn coming under coaxing with five-sixteenths to go, swung three wide into upper stretch, got briefly steadied off the heels of the lugging in MACKVILLE and altered out a path just outside the eighth pole, offered up a mild bid but was outkicked to the finish. WESTERN WOLF chased six paths off the inside down the backstretch and then three wide through the turn coming under encouragement near the quarter pole, cornered four wide at that station, then weakened in the late going. ONE VISION chased from the three path briefly before darting outside to be eight paths off the inside down the backstretch, continued in the overland route six wide through the turn and eight to nine wide into upper stretch and made no impact. GOOD QUESTION grew a bit fractious in the gate just after MAJESTIC ARC did, led early on and then vied briefly with a pair of rivals from the three path, tucked to the two path into the turn and was shaken off near the seven-sixteenths, came under urging midway, angled four to five wide into upper stretch in retreat and folded. There was a Stewards' Inquiry into the stretch and well as a Jockey's Objection by the rider of MAJESTIC ARC alleging interference against MACKVILLE in the stretch. After review, the Objection was dismissed and the result was allowed to stand prior to the race being declared official.
