PALACE BOSS was rated on the outside, moved closer outside the five-eighths pole then tracked the pace on the outside, gained to get the lead at the seven-sixteenths pole, vied in the three path on the turn, was roused just inside the five-sixteenths pole, shook clear outside the quarter-pole, came under a right-handed crop in upper stretch, drew away under a drive into the final furlong, was given one pop of a left-handed crop outside the sixteenth-pole then placed under a hand-ride to the finish while much the best. CORVUS saved ground on the first turn, was well placed just off the pace, came under encouragement leaving the backstretch, chased in the two path on the far turn, was driven into the stretch in the three path and safely secured the place while no match for the winner. JUST LICORICE dropped from the two path to the rail early on the first turn, was urged along at the rear on the backstretch, went around the far turn in the two then three path, swung out to the six path into upper stretch and improved for the show. I'M SOLO N IN LOVE brushed with a rival at the start, rounded the first turn in the four path, was urged along on the outside, traveled around the far turn in the five path, came out to the eight path into upper stretch and failed to threaten. CUMBERLAND BLUES brushed with a rival at the start then was hustled to the lead, went around most of the first turn in the two path then dropped to the inside, showed the way with a clear advantage, was asked leaving the backstretch then lost the advantage at the seven-sixteenths pole, vied along the rail under urging on the far turn, dropped back nearing the quarter-pole and tired. BATTLEOFLEXINGTON moved from the rail to the two path early on the first turn, settled off the pace, shifted out outside the five-eighths pole then advanced closer to the leader on the outside, chased in the four path on the far turn and faltered then was eased in the final furlong but walked off.
