Chart notes
TIMING DIFFERENCE got bumped at the start by SEQUENTIAL, who broke outwards, chased four then five wide coming under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, swung six wide into upper stretch, rallied to stack outside a trio a furlong out, seized command near the sixteenth marker, then inched clear to the finish. THE CLOSER coaxed from the gate, chased four then three wide under a ride from the three-eighths pole, swung four wide into upper stretch, rallied to take command just inside the eighth pole, got collared nearing the sixteenth pole and ran on to preserve the place honors. BARB five then four wide in pursuit, came under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, swung five wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive running on to secure the show honors. SCOTTISH STORM three then two wide in pursuit, got coaxed along three furlongs from home, spun just off the inside into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. GYPSY DREAMING showed the way in hand along the inside and then just off the inside coming under urging nearing the quarter pole, spun two to three wide into upper stretch, yielded the front just inside the eighth pole, weakened through to the finish. SEQUENTIAL broke out at the start brushing the off side stall and then bumping TIMING DIFFERENCE, chased just off the inside under urging from the three-eighths, went six to seven wide into upper stretch and tired.
