Chart notes
ASTROLOGYSPROTEGE hustled from the break and went a couple of lengths clear of the field, settled into a good rhythm through the turn then responded when roused in the stretch and drew away in the late stages. CRIME SPREE was not asked for speed from the start, settled at the back early then advanced inside through the turn, tipped out to the three path for the stretch run and finished best of the rest despite racing on the left lead and drifting out. BIND FAITH sent hard from the break but outrun to the front by the eventual winner, chased then bid two wide at the top of the stretch, had some trouble changing leads and faltered. TRUVY'S BANDIT broke well, was briefly close, settled mid-pack, made a mild middle move but did not menace. GOLDEN PALACE broke outward at the start, raced in mid-pack then lacked a bid. ALLEVA was off a step slow then settled in a tracking position off the pace, made a mild bid heading to the quarter pole but faltered in upper stretch. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
