Chart notes
DYLAN'S DREAM was hard to load then raced a bit rank through the first turn, settled down the backstretch, checked slightly at the seven-sixteenths and then started to run on three wide through the far turn, turned four home with three others, emerged with the lead then held off a challenge to the inside to prevail. BEAUTIFUL JANET was allowed to settle into stride from the break and was unhurried in last through the first turn, advanced down the backstretch to be in contention by the start of the far turn, became boxed in late on the turn then ran through a seam at the eighth pole was finishing well and gaining on the winner then appeared to spook from something just before the finish line. MOR MOR MUSIC went four wide on the clubhouse turn then was up close to the leaders going down the backstretch while still racing wide, responded when asked to quicken after the leaders at the seven-sixteenth pole, loomed four wide turning into the stretch could not find a winning kick but kept on well to earn the third prize. ROUND IN CIRCLES pushed to get forward position, prompted the pace from the inside, was inside of a four horse fan at the top of the stretch but could not find more in the stretch and was outfinished. BROKE DRAW hustled from the break and was part of the early pace through moderate fractions, tried to give the rest the slip on the far turn, took a short to the quarter pole, came under a drive then was beset by challengers turning for home, fought on to mid-stretch then weakened in the final furlong. MERRILY RUSH was outrun early and raced with the trio at the back of the back, made a mild move on the turn three wide then faltered in the stretch. SPECTACULAR FORCE was not asked for speed from the break and settled near the back along the rail, while under a slight hold, did not respond when asked on the far turn and was not persevered with late. ONE MORE TIME BABY broke well and was contesting the lead three wide through the first turn, dropped off the pace at the five furlong pole then started a steady retreat after passing the half mile pole and was galloped out to the wire far behind the rest. THERE WAS A STEWARDS INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH RUN, AFTER A REVIEW NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
