Chart notes
GLOBAL SENSATION was always close up, had the measure of the pacesetters through the turn then moved to challenge at the quarter, went clear in upper stretch and easily held sway late to win clear. AMERICAN KNOW HOW dueled inside of PERRY COUNTY to the quarter pole, kept on to battle with GLOBAL SENSATION when the first named foe dropped out but could reel in the winner in the stretch. COMANCHE WARRIOR broke in at the start and was void of speed, dropped far back early then rallied two to three wide on the turn and finished well under steady handling and urging to gain third. NOTION broke outward at the start, tracked well behind the leaders and lacked a rally. PERRY COUNTY stumbled at the start then rushed up to duel outside of AMERICAN KNOW HOW to the quarter pole, dropped out passing the quarter pole and tired in the stretch. IRON IN THE FIRE tracked near the back of the pack but not too far from the front end, was unable keep up from late on the turn and was not a factor in the late stages. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
