THOMPSON settled off the contested early pace while racing two out from the rail in the run down the backstretch, launched his bid four wide entering the final turn, and closed with a rush three out from the rail in the drive to prove best. DREAMB settled off the early pace while racing one out from the rail entering the backside, rallied smartly from along the inside entering the final turn, and closed willingly three wide from between rivals in deep stretch to prove second best. PRINCE CAIRO away alertly and tracked the leader into the first turn before forcing the issue from the outside of FRASER LANDING in the run down the backside, continued to battle for the lead through the final turn, and finished determinedly from just off the rail in the drive to hold on for a share. NU SOUP FOR BABY was brushed at the start, and settled off the early pace while racing one out from the rail entering the backstretch, commenced his bid three wide entering the final turn, and improved his position in the lane while racing three out from the rail. KIKIS LOVE OF LIFE broke inwards in the opening strides before racing into a stalking trip one out from the rail entering the first turn, held his position in the run down the backside, rallied two wide entering the final turn, but needed more late when called upon. FRASER LANDING broke sharply and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the backstretch, set a pressured pace from the outside of PRINCE CAIRO in the run down the backside and through the final turn, but weakened in the stretch drive. CHICKASAW was squeezed and clipped heels soon after the start and trailed the field into the first turn, was always well back, rallied four wide into the final turn, and finished five wide in the drive while unable to overcome the slow beginning.
