OTAGO raced off the pace inside, advanced inside on the far turn, angled out nearing the quarter pole, came three wide into the lane, rallied outside, commenced a strong run in midstretch and surged outside rivals for the win. HIGHESTDISTINCTION raced two wide off the pace, three wide on the backside, bid three wide on the far turn, rallied in the stretch, closed willingly between rivals late and dug in gamely to the finish. FOREVER SOUPER tracked on the inside, bid two wide on the far turn, led into the stretch, kicked clear, dug in gamely and was caught in the final yards. HE'SPUREGOLD stalked three wide, then two wide, steadied nearing the far turn, moved up between horses on the turn, then lacked a stretch bid. SIGNATOR raced off the pace inside, saved ground on the far turn, waited for room at the quarter pole, angled out in upper stretch and failed to threaten. THERE ARE NO WORDS bobbled a bit at the break, set the pace on the inside, dueled on the far turn and faded. FULMINEO raced three wide early, then four wide at the half mile marker, chased four wide on the turn and tired. BELOUNI (FR) stalked close up two wide and gave way on the far turn.
