Chart notes
MUSEUM QUALITY broke out and cleared the lead strides out of the gate, set the pace two to three wide up the backstretch, held firm still unleashed around the turn, shaken up three wide at the head of the lane, responded, widened advantage and kept to task. CUPID'S THUNDER was a step awkward at the start and came away last, angled off the inside mid-way up the backstretch, ranged closer late on the far turn, given cue four wide entering the head of the lane, dug in under firm handling, finished well but could not reach the winner. HEY was forwardly placed soon after the start, remained in contention two to three wide around the turn, sustained a three wide bid down the lane and lasted for show. SOCIAL SOONER raced off the top trio in the opening quarter, hustled along two wide into the stretch run, ran on and narrowly missed show. BETTER EDGE raced up close along the inside, remained in contention around the turn then tired in the drive. CODE ONE was not too far back early on, failed to progress along the rail around the turn and steadily retreated.
