Chart notes
DOLCE FORTUNA had a slim lead setting the pace three deep on the outside in the early going, opened up through the turn, was in full control just off the rail, two wide turning for home and won going away with ease in the final furlong. SPEEDY FREEZE was inside runners having a stalking role, took closer order picking up the bit at the quarter pole, had a clear lane in the two-path starting to make a move in upper stretch, darted to the rail when encouraged right-handed at the furlong pole and pulled away late to be a clear but distant second. MIRAMICHI settled on the rail in the middle of the pack in the early stages, edged up behind the lead trio at the quarter pole, slipped up the fence taking the runners up position at the top of the lane, drifted out under the drive slightly with an eighth remaining and finished up willingly holding for the show money. NEENAH was nudged on the rail trying to get closer to the pacesetter on the fence down the backstretch, had to be checked briefly on the rail entering the turn, chased the frontrunner shifting outside in midturn, angled to the five path in the hunt in upper stretch and finished up one paced to be a fringe player in the end. UNHEARD travelled outside foes in midfield, moved out four wide at the quarter pole trying to swoop around horses, angled out widest in the six path for the drive to the wire but stalled in the final furlong. MY CASH FACTOR was part of the trio up top with runners on either side down the back straight, travelled three wide watching the lead two through the turn, shifted five wide between runners in upper stretch but had no rally down the lane. REGAL MOMENT had a stalking role on the outside, made little impact while hard ridden outside around the bend, shifted in from the three path in upper stretch to the rail with a furlong to go but had no finish to offer inside runners late. HYMN TO HER was void of early speed, trailing the pack along the backstretch, came under a ride making no progress through the turn and while on the rail could not factor in the stretch running.
