Chart notes
TALK TO YA LATER was confidently handled, rating kindly moving comfortably ahead of only a couple of rivals along the backside, cruised up three wide by the quarter pole , loomed boldly still in the three path straightening out for home and with only mild urging rushed on past in the final furlong to win going away decisively when crossing the finish line. DETERMINED FIRST co-trailed on the outside in the early stages, travelled three to four wide around the bend, started to rally at the quarter pole, swung out widest in the five path turning for home and with a belated run got up for the runners up share in deep stretch. NEVER SILENT chased the pace on the outside down the back straight, swept right on by assuming command midway around the oval, was headed outside by the winner in upper stretch offering no resistance, switched back to the incorrect lead at the sixteenth pole and faded late relinquishing the place share. HAY HAY PAULA co-trailed on the inside down the back straight, offered a mild run in the three path at the quarter pole, made a little rally splitting tired runners at the furlong marker and finished up for a minor placing in the end. I'M INTO MISCHIEF settled on the rail in mid-division in the early going, was in the second flight on the rail with the eventual winner beside her but could not quicken through the turn with runners, shifted out four wide at the top of the lane but made little impact between foes. MISS PIERRE was alone up-front dictating terms along the backside, had no answer when headed outside with five sixteenths to go and yielded on the fence down the stretch to the wire.
