Chart notes
PROVEN ADVOCATE reserved early, was last on the far turn then, steadied turning into the stretch, unleashed a furious rally five wide down the stretch and was along in time. VINO TEXAS JESS unhurried early, saved ground, was finishing well up the rail in upper stretch the tipped out to the four path in the final furlong, surged under urging in the final yards and just missed. CINCO RICHIE tracked just behind the pacesetter, responded when set down at the quarter pole, battled three wide down the stretch, finished well but was outkicked in the final yards. SILVER ASSASSIN settled mid-pack inside, was always close up from the half mile pole, cut the corner into the stretch, got a nose in front in deep stretch but was caught in the last jumps. SHARP LORENZO broke well intent on getting to the front, made the lead then cleaned off under a hold going down the backstretch, was still going well on the far turn then responded when set down in upper stretch, fought gamely between horses to deep stretch but came up short. SUPERSECRETWEAPON settled three deep near the back and lacked a rally. SPECIAL MEMORY away well, raced close up three wide, was still in contention as the field turned into the stretch but could not quicken with the rest and was was outfinished. NIGHTWIND tracked two wide through the early stages, was under a drive midway through the far turn then weakened in the stretch.
