Chart notes
PATH TO SUCCESS tracked the leaders from four wide down the backside, commenced a steady advance into the far turn gradually cutting into the lead of the pacesetters and finished willingly in a long drive to be pulling away late in a well handled ride. COUSIN LARRY stalked the pace from three wide down the backside, rallied on the final bend in a drive to engage the leader turning for home, dueled with that one in upper stretch taking the lead midway down the lane and finished well as second best while unable to hold off the winner. CITY OF LOVE set the pace under mild pressure early while well rated, responded on the final turn when challenged by the runner-up, dueled with that on to the eighth pole and weakened. COOL QUARTET pressed the early pace on the first turn from the fence, continued to prompt the leader from the inside to the far turn, chased them on the final bend unable to match their pace and finished evenly. UNANIMOUSLY raced wide through the first turn, settled off the pace down the backside and went evenly without impact. BUBBA CAN DANCE pinched back at the start to be the distant trailer and wa never a factor from there. GOBOT was not a threat.
