Chart notes
LITTLE WARRIOR unhurried for the first five-eighths, waited patiently behind rivals through the far turn, angled five wide at the top of the lane and mounted a strong stretch rally to be up late in the drive. GRACE'S HANK tracked the leaders to the far turn from mid-pack, rallied at the quarter pole from four wide to reel-in the leader inside the final eighth and was outkicked by the winner in the final yards. NIGHT STICK stalked the pace down the backside, rallied on the far turn to take command from the tiring leaders, opened a clear lead in the lane and couldn't hold the closers off. BUTCHY BOY set the pace under steady pressure to the far turn, was challenged on the bend, could not keep pace in the lane and held a spot on the board while tiring down the stretch. PEYTON'S DAY went evenly, failing to menace. LITTLE JONY slow early to be the trailer onto the backside, moved up the fence to be in contention entering the final turn and flattened out unable to sustain the rally. HOWARD'S GRIT pressed the pace from four wide through the first turn, took a brief lead on the far turn and came up empty on the bend. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
