Chart notes

TIARAQUEEN (GB) tracked the speed from the two path, chased three wide leaving the far turn, challenged from outside in upper stretch, dueled with WORD PLAY (GB) into deep stretch and wore that rival down in the end. WORD PLAY (GB) was closest in pursuit from the two path, drew alongside the pacesetter with a quarter mile remaining, quickly took over leaving the bend, came under threat from TIARAQUEEN (GB) in upper stretch, battled into the final sixteenth and yielded grudgingly. NOTIME FOR SQUALLS stalked the speed along the rail, roused entering the lane while moving off the fence, finished evenly late and edged UPCHARGE for third. UPCHARGE reserved in the opening stages on the inside, moved out on the backstretch, drew closer two, three, then four wide on the far turn and got outkicked for the show honors. MS BRIGHTSIDE (IRE) settled inside, waited next to the fence behind NOTIME FOR SQUALLS on the far turn, tipped out into the stretch, tried to split foes but had the hole close at the sixteenth pole and could not regain the lost momentum. CYPRUS MOON showed the way along the inside unchallenged to the far turn, tested by WORD PLAY (GB) at the quarter pole, relinquished the lead coming into the stretch and folded.
