Chart notes
FRAC DANCER pressed the issue inside at the beginning, took back, being throttled down to let the frontrunner go on down the backside, began to reel in the pacesetter at the five sixteenths pole, took control outside, three wide at the furlong marker, ran on to win comfortably when crossing the line, galloped out but left via equine ambulance. LUCKY SCORE was unhurried at the rear in the early going, continued to be well back but off a fast pace throughout the turn, began to uncork a stretch run seven wide midway down the lane and was flying home late but did not have enough to get to the winner at the wire. SIGILOSO sat outside watching the leader set a brisk pace along the backside, came under a ride trying to keep up to the front two midway around the turn, shifted out five wide with rivals on each side straightening out for the finish and dug in tenaciously to come back on the win the show money. ROI SOLEIL was brushed inside on the start, travelled three deep in midfield along the backside, had little movement around the oval, shifted to the six path for the drive and finished up willingly through the lane but did fade slightly between foes in the final seventy yards to settle on the fringes on the end. PERFECT CRIME had a stalking trip inside a rival, made a good middle move moving up on the fence through the turn, shifted to be four wide in upper stretch battling for third money but was outkicked by others at the sixteenth pole. RAT PORTAGE broke out on the start, stalked outside in the early going, had little to offer taking the short way around the turn and could not find more to get into contention through the stretch running. RAPID GREY opened up to a clear lead on the rail at the five eighths marker, quickened the tempo in the second split unchallenged up top around the bend, was collared outside by the winner at the eighth pole offering no resistance and folded inside of runners in the final sixteenth of a mile.
