Chart notes
COASTAL GIRL bobbled then was bumped at the start by DEUX MERES then was allowed to settle while saving ground, slipped through to take the lead entering the stretch, opened a clear lead nearing the eighth pole and maintained the advantage to the wire. BRING A SMILE was prominently placed while racing three-wide, came four-wide into the stretch and finished strongly. ELWOOD ROAD chased BUMPING RIVER while two-wide, came three-wide into the stretch and finished well in a steady effort. POP CHART was reserved off the pace, came two-wide into the stretch then angled out nearing the eighth pole and improved her position. RIVER DANCE stumbled badly at the start then raced well back early, came six-wide into the stretch and finished willingly. PRANCING MATILDA saved ground while racing in the middle of the field and weakened evenly. BUMPING RIVER saved ground setting the pace, drifted out slightly leaving the quarter pole and weakened. DEUX MERES broke in to bump COASTAL GAL then was forwardly placed to the stretch and tired.
