Chart notes
ACTION SEEKER was forwardly placed around the first turn, sat in good position three wide just off the top pair, moved up to engage rivals for the lead entering the final turn, battled on holding a head in front of NULLARBOR into the final furlong, dug in gamely, edged away late and just lasted over late surging runner up. LOGICAL MYTH settled and saved ground through early stages, began to edge a bit closer late on the backstretch, shifted out three wide entering the head of the lane, responded gamely under pressure, finished fast to the wire and just missed. NULLARBOR broke sharp and hustled up to duel for the lead in the opening quarter, briefly held a clear lead then came under pressure from inside running ALLO ENRY, dueled past the half mile marker, took on the added challenge of ACTION SEEKER entering the final turn, fought back gamely from the inside, continued to dig in a head off the leader into the final furlong then yielded late. STREET GLIDE rated off the top trio in the early backstretch, came under a ride three wide around the far turn, ran on with interest in the lane but needed more for serious impact. ALLO ENRY vied for the lead in the opening quarter then briefly sat just behind the leader, moved back up the rail to re-engage NULLARBOR for the lead mid-way up the backstretch, dueled through the far turn then steadily weakened in the lane. PITTSBURGH raced in the back throughout.
