Chart notes
SALLY'S SUPRISE stalked the pace, launched her bid between horses, forged a narrow lead and held stubbornly. COMMISSIONER GULCH tracked three wide, joined the vanguard four wide midway through the turn, fought on through a prolonged drive but grudgingly gave in. WILDWOOD BYE broke a step slow, settled in hand, circled into the stretch five wide and was just up to earn the show. SPICY DELIGHT rushed to the lead along the inside, was collared midway through the turn, contested the issue into the stretch and weakened. MISS TENA MARIE was forwardly placed off of the inside but lacked a response when called upon. GO MADI GO lunged at the start, was away behind her field and trailed. The jockey of COMMISSIONER GULCH lodged an objection against SALLY'S SUPRISE for alleged interference through the drive, but following the Stewards review there was no change to the order of finish.
