Chart notes
SECOND EXCHANGE unhurried in the early going to be in hand off the pace, steadily closed the margin down the backstretch, rallied five wide turning for home to engage the leaders in mid-stretch and wore those rivals down in the final eighth to be going away at the wire. TRAUMARAMA tracked the leaders to the far turn from the fence, rallied between rivals at the head of the lane to loom large at the eighth pole and was outkicked by the winner in the drive. PROTECTTHEWITNESS prompted the pace for five-eighths, rallied on the turn to take the lead leaving the quarter pole, battled in the lane and weakened late. RAINBOW TROUT set the pace under mild pressure to the far turn, responded when challenged on the turn to upper stretch and tired late in the lane. PATH TO VICTORY trailed throughout, swung five wide into the stretch and lacked a closing kick.
