Chart notes
ON TAP unhurried in the early going to be near the rear of the field, waited patiently for racing room at the back through the turn, rallied in upper stretch, split rivals midway down the lane as the pacesetter drifted out opening a gap and surged through under a drive to prevail in deep stretch. SHARON'S PRINCE broke alertly to be on top, settled to press the pace through the turn, rallied to engage the pacesetter at the top of the lane, dueled with that one the length of the stretch while being carried out and was caught by the late surging winner, having won the battle and lost the war in a game effort. LOTHARIO set a pressured pace through the turn through legitimate fractions, responded well battling down the lane when challenged, drifted out several paths coming home and was outkicked late in a good effort. DRUNKLE tracked the leaders through the turn, rallied in upper stretch to threaten and failed to get passed. OUTSIDER reserved off the pace while kept in striking distance, swung out for the drive and rallied with good late interest narrowing the margin through the stretch. HARBOUR BRIDGE stalked the pace down the backstretch, chased the leaders through the turn attmepting to keep pace and lacked a response for the stretch run finishing evenly. TURF CAT trailed all the way despite swinging out and showing some interest with a mild bid in the lane.
