Chart notes
DRUNK ON SAKE went straight to the lead shortly from the gate, opened a clear advantage on the first turn, shook free when tested down the backstretch to be on an open lead through the final turn, repelled rival in mid-stretch and drew clear once again in good effort. TEMPUS reserved off the pace to be near the rear early, commenced a steady advance on the far turn and rallied six wide with good interest down the lane. UNCLE TRULY was a bit rank into the first turn when held up off the pace along the fence, was anxious to run down the backside when confronted by a rival in mid-pack, settled on the inside into the far turn and rallied well belatedly in the stretch. RECYCLE was well placed in striking distance at all times from the fence to the quarter pole, threatened the winner in mid-stretch and flattened out when repelled. NIGHT RIDE trailed to the quarter pole, circled nine wide at the head of the lane and showed some mild interest coming home. BRAGGART JOE was reserved to race in the rear half of the field and had no response when called upon on the far turn. GROWTH CAPITAL pressed the pace down the backside and gave way midway on the final bend. TARHE tracked the pace from four wide through the turn and faded in the stretch.
