Chart notes
GENERAL WINSTON pressed the pace down the backside, took a short lead at the quarter pole, edged away in mid-stretch and held the closer safe determinedly. ENJOY THE MUSIC tracked the leaders from the fence into the turn, waited patiently to angle out around the pacesetters at the head of the lane and finished willingly but unable to reel in the winner. RICHIESINTHEHOUSE set a pressured pace to the turn, dueled on the lead to upper stretch and weakened inside the sixteenth pole. SPAN OF CONTROL reserved off the pace down the backstretch, rallied four wide to be prominent turning for home, drifted out to the six path and finished with a mild bid on the outside. KEYSTONE HANK trailed for a half and showed some interest in the stretch. HE'S ON THE FLY stalked the pace from four wide to the turn and faded on the bend.
