Chart notes
AWESOME EMPRESS set a well rated pace on a clear lead, maintained the comfortable margin throughout and was never seriously challenged. CANDY CAUSE stalked the pacesetter the entire way, was unable to close the gap and finished willingly as second best. OLD FASHIONED GIRL tracked the leaders from the fence in a personal battle with her companion at the rear of the field and prevailed in a drive over that one in the final yards to gain the show. AZTEC PRINCESS chased the leaders while locked in step with her fellow trailer, dueled with her throuhg the lane holding a short lead for the show until the final yards when caught having to settle for last at the wire.
