Chart notes
MOON LANDING had the brief early lead then settled in off the new leader up the backstretch to stalk, was encouraged along by the three-eights, advanced outside leaving the turn, struck the lead at the three-sixteenths now under very stout urging, forged clear and was kept to the task. PRICELESS WILL was in just a bit tight early, settled off the pace, was mostly three to four wide, kept on to get up for place. INDIAN PEAK soon led, shifted in once clear to set the pace nearer the inside, was challenged late on the turn, overtaken in upper stretch, had no extra and lost place late. PAT'S GAMBLE got away well, was taken back, settled at the rear outside, swung five wide, drifted out in the stretch, ran on mildly late. JAMIESTA was urged forward inside, was just a bit tight on heels about the five-and-one-half, continued to chase in behind, lacked the needed late kick. SAILOR'S PASSION chased from the back inside, was outpaced.
