Chart notes
BONS TEMPS ROULE was unhurried from the break and was last through the first turn, steadily advanced down the backstretch then was sent along after passing the half-mile pole, bid in earnest leaving the three furlong marker, then came four wide into the stretch took command with a furlong to run and drew off late. LASER CLAD steadied at the start when POPPA MAGIC took the path, went forward and pressed the early pace two wide, left that rival behind passing the three furlong pole but had to deal with BONS TEMPS ROULE, battled that one to mid-stretch and gave way. SARAH'S RUNNER was off a step slow then rushed up two wide to stalk the pacesetters, came out and bumped LOUiSIANA BOSS at the five-furlong pole then move up to join the leaders three wide heading into the turn, took a short lead passing the quarter pole then proved no match for the winner in the stretch and was all out to hold third while drifting in and out under urging. POPPA MAGIC led the way into the first turn, was being shadowed by a rival down the backstretch, weakened a bit late on the turn then went evenly in the stretch. TURF MONSTER was allowed to settle from the break and was unhurried through the first half, tried to rally from far back but flattened out in the stretch. LOUISIANA BOSS tracked two wide through the early stages, was making a forward move when suddenly bumped by SARAH'S RUNNER at the 5/8, started to advance going into the turn then faded while being put into a drive and was not a factor in the late stages. THE JOCKEY ON #6 LOUISIANA BOSS LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST #1 SARAH'S RUNNER ALLEGING INTERFERENCE NEAR THE FIVE-EIGHTHS POLE. AFTER A REVIEW THE OBJECTION WAS DISALLOWED AND THE ORIGINAL FINISH WAS MADE OFFICIAL.
