Chart notes
INCOGNITO BURRITO broke well then ceded the pacesetting duties tracking three wide in the clear, moved up three wide on the turn to bid for the lead at the quarter pole, took command in upper stretch under steady handling and was drawing clear late. MOLTO VINO was not asked for speed from the break, settled on the rail at the back of he main pack, went into a drive leaving the half-mile pole, was not making up any ground through the turn but kept to the inside and finished well up the rail to gain the second spot while no match for the winner. VIV'S WILD ACES ducked in sharply after the break and bumped hard with WELL ACCUSTOMED, gathered up then rushed up to join the leading group before the turn, was stuck behind horses late on the turn then angled out to the four path, finished well but was outkicked by the top pair in the final yards. POT'S PAYCHECK was allowed to settle from the break then found a good rhythm and started to run on while three wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch, stalled out a bit but kept to task and passed a couple in the late stages. BASILE broke outward into WELL ACCUSTOMED then hustled to the front and seized the early lead, led the field into the turn with MIKA ELLA PIKA in hot pursuit, tried to battle back when INCOGNITO BURRITO joined the fray at the top of the stretch but weakened in mid-stretch. MIKA ELLA PIKA broke inward pushing VIV'S WILD ACES into WELL ACCUSTOMED, still came away well and chased BASILE from the start, ramped up the pressure on the turn then got the best of that rival in upper stretch but proved no match for the winner and faded in the late stages. LITTLEBITOFAQUEEN tracked in mid-pack to the inside, ran into traffic near the seven-sixteenths marker, struggled to regain momentum and was outfinished in the late stages. F J'S CHAOS lacked early speed and was near the back of the pack in the early stages racing three to four wide, remained wide on the turn and tired in the stretch. WELL ACCUSTOMED got sandwiched hard between rivals after the break, almost losing the rider, spotted the field a head start and was unable to recover.
