Chart notes
HUNTERS GHOST vied outside of YOU VEE CEE for the lead up the backstretch, shook free entering the far turn, came three wide into the upper stretch, widened advantage and kept to task. DRILL'S LI'L MAN tracked the pace in the opening quarter, edged closer three wide midway around the turn, sustained a three wide bid down the lane and finished second best. YOU VEE CEE vied briefly along the rail soon after the start then edged back into tracking position, hustled along the inside around the turn, saved ground turning for home, ran on down the lane and secured a share. ABSOLUTE CHAOS vied outside of the winner up the backstretch, could not match strides with three furlongs left to run, remained in close contention turning for home, ran on two wide then flattened near mid-stretch. NORTHWIND broke sharp then weakened into the second flight, raced four wide in hand going by the quarter pole, swung wider for the drive and faded. WHEELER DEALER raced in the back through early stages, saved ground around the turn, had no response under a drive and steadily retreated.
