Chart notes
MISCHELOF (CHI) tracked the early duel, let out a notch leaving the backstretch, swept by three wide in hand mid-way around the turn, came under a ride two wide at the head of the lane, responded, widened advantage and wrapped up late. RUNNING BAYOU vied inside up the backstretch, got collared by eventual winner mid-way around the turn, remained in pursuit through the lane and cleared second best. COOL AND CLOUDY settled off the early pace, edged closer three to four wide late on the turn and sustained a steady bid down the lane. CRAVENSWORTH was ridden along off the early pace, kept under a ride two to three wide around the turn and needed more for late impact. BEAU DAY vied outside up the backstretch, got collared by the winner mid-turn and steadily weakened in the lane'. JUSTIFY'S MAGIC due to gate malfunction, declared a non-starter.
