Chart notes
JOSEPH H tracked three wide down the backstretch, bid for the lead three wide near the quarter pole, opened up in upper stretch and went unchallenged to the finish line. BILLY BOWLEGS dueled inside of BATTLE FACE through the turn, was no match for JOSEPH H when that one bid near the quarter pole but kept on well down the lane to hold on to the second spot. ONE MORE SLEEP was a bit slow into stride then rushed up to take a tracking position behind the dueling leaders, finished willingly in the lane but lacked a winning kick. BATTLE FACE was hustled to the lead from the break and dueled outside of a rival through the turn, gave way in upper stretch and went evenly in the late stages. I'M A NIGHT TRAIN raced mid-pack three to four wide, finished willingly but was not good enough. MECKES PRIORITY raced four to five wide throughout, was at the back of the pack in the early running, made a mild move through the turn but could not sustain the bid enough to threaten in the stretch. KOODIE trailed early, saved ground throughout, ran on a bit late but was unable to make an impact. COUNT ON RAIN raced in the middle of the pack towards the inside lanes then faltered in the stretch.
