Chart notes
CAN DO ANDREW sped to a slim lead out of the gate and set the pace with JACKS TIME applying outside pressure, raced heads apart going by the quarter pole, remained confidently handled, shook off rival in hand entering the upper stretch, widened advantage, shook the reins past the furlong marker, responded willingly, tapped once right handed and finished clear. JACK'S TIME applied pace pressure to CAN DO ANDREW soon after the start, continued to force the issue through the backstretch, hustled along entering the far turn, advanced to race heads apart going by the quarter pole, could not match strides entering the upper stretch, ran on under steady pressure and had to settle for second best. AMOROSA raced off the clear top pair up the backstretch, continued to track foes around the turn, hustled along three wide entering the head of the lane, sustained bid and prevailed for a share. FIVE CHARLIE was away in good order then dropped to the back of the field, trailed two wide up the backstretch, had no response when called upon around the turn and trailed through the lane.
