Chart notes
GOLDEN EDGE sped to the lead at the start, briefly led the way then quickly came under pressure from an inside duo, vied three deep up the backstretch, shook free in hand with three furlongs left to run, came three wide into the upper stretch, drifted to the inside, came under firm left handed pressure and finished going away. LA BELLA BELLA slightly bobbled at the start then quickly advanced to engage GOLDEN EDGE for the early lead, vied between foes up the backstretch, weakened mid-way around the turn, kept under a ride two wide in the stretch and regained place. BLAME NELLIE raced between foes in the second flight up the backstretch, was ridden along three wide going by the quarter pole, sustained a steady bid down the lane and secured show. MAUI MISTRESS broke out and bumped rival at the start to come away a step slow, moved up the inside and tracked the top flight through early stages, waited for a clear path along the rail at the quarter pole, was ridden two wide in the upper stretch and had no kick. DENISES DOLLY got bumped at the start, vied for the lead inside a duo through the backstretch, could not move on with eventual winner past the three eighths pole, remained in contention around the turn then steadily weakened down the lane. BLUE MOON RIVER raced three wide in the second flight, failed to advance when called upon mid-way around the turn, came four wide into the lane and never threatened.
