HOP AWAY HOTTIE was forwardly placed tracking the early leader, vied outside of ANNIEWAY U WANT IT around the turn, dug in the upper stretch, shook free leaving the furlong marker and kept clear under a brisk hand ride. DREAMINONTHENILE edged closer in opening stages along the rail and steadied slightly, remained in contention along the inside around the turn, hustled along the rail and lost path in the final furlong, tipped two wide and ran on. LUCKYHOTSTUFF raced three wide in the second flight around the turn, swung four wide into the upper stretch, sustained a steady bid and got a nose up late for show. ESPIRIDION raced in contention just off the top pair, hustled along between foes in the second flight around the turn, kept on with response into the lane and got nipped in final stride for show. PEGGY RULES raced off the early pace saving ground, hustled along three to four wide entering the upper stretch, gained some ground late but needed more for impact. ANNIEWAY U WANT IT broke alertly and quickly cleared the lead, vied inside of HOP AWAY HOTTIE around the turn, fought back in upper stretch, failed to match past the eighth pole and steadily weakened. FIREBAUGH raced off the pace, swung four to five wide into the upper stretch and lacked a needed rally.
