AUTOBAHN ACE tracked the leader three wide entering the first turn, was forced five wide entering the backstretch, rallied confidently three wide entering the final turn and took control leaving the turn, and inched clear late to prove best. KYALAM away alertly and raced to the lead from along the inside in the run to the first turn, drifted out slightly entering the turn, set a pressured pace from along the inside in the run down the backside, battled into the final turn from the inside of AUTOBAHN ACE entering the final turn, was unable to match strides with that rival leaving the turn, but finished willingly from along the rail in the drive to prove easily second best. KITTEN KANDY broke sharply and tracked the pace into the first turn while saving ground at the rail, split rivals soon after entering the backside while BOBBY ROCKS carried AUTOBAHN ACE out five wide leaving the turn, battled for the lead from between rivals in the run to the turn, was no match for the top two entering the final turn, and was outfinished over the final furlong. BOBBY ROCK pressed the pace two wide approaching the first turn while pressured slightly from the inside entering the turn, drifted four wide entering the backside while carrying AUTOBAHN ACE out with his, battled for the lead three wide from between rivals in the run to the final turn, but weakened over the final furlong.
