Chart notes
LONNY'S GAMBLE was bumped and bobbled on the break to co-trail on the inside, edged up smartly getting better position on the fence at the half, was in a good spot isolated, watching the contesting trio in midturn, shifted out off the leaders four wide having a clear lane for the drive and wore down rivals inside to get up just at the wire for the win. SCUDERIA settled on the outside in midfield, moved in to press three wide at the three eighths marker, battled three wide from the quarter pole to the furlong marker up front, slowly getting the better of the inside rivals down the stretch but just lost the nod the clsoing in winner outside at the finish line. SPIRITUAL MAN broke out on the start, was loose up top down the backside, had company outside at the five sixteenths pole dueling on the rail, stubbornly fought on having the fence run down the stretch but faded ever so slightly nearing the wire to be on the losing end of a three-way finish for the top spot. WILD CARD was pushed out on the start, sat alone contently tracking the pacesetter down the backside, was forced to move in with an outside rival circling at the three furlong pole, battled in the two path in upper stretch between foes but gave way in the four horses duel at the sixteenth pole to settle on the fringes in the end. LAST RIDE travelled four deep in touch with the pacesetter in the early going, was hard held while three wide outside at the back of the pack at the half mile marker, made little headway on the leaders in the turn, passed a rival outside at the quarter pole and had little to offer in the stretch going in the four path. RUNAWAY MAXI was unhurried, co-trailing on the outside, stalked between horses along the back straight under a snug hold, was nudged for more three furlongs out but retreated through the turn and was not a factor inside rivals down the stretch.
