Chart notes
SOLDIERESS reserved off the pace in mid-pack down the backside, rallied from four wide with a steady advance to be prominent in upper stretch and finished well under good handling to wear the leader down inside the final sixteenth. MOMENTOUS MISS stalked the pace from three wide to the top of the lane, rallied well to take a brief lead inside the eighth pole and was outkicked in deep stretch. DAME MAUDE CHARDIN unhurried early to be near the rear of the field, rallied well to be gaining belatedly in the lane. LENA KAHLENA set the pace on a clear, well rated lead for a hlaf, responded willingly turning for home to maintain the advantage in mid-stretch and weakened in the final furlong. JOYS OF SUMMER trailed for the first quarter, failed to respond on the turn when called upon and showed some late interest passing weaker in the lane without impact. LAST GLIMMER was well placed along the rail tracking the leaders and faded in the stretch. TOVIA broke well to prompt the pace to the quarter pole and tired turning for home. GIO'S MY DAD dropped to the rear of the field on the turn and was not a factor.
