Chart notes
GRANDE TORTUGON (CHI) stalked the pace to the head of the lane, rallied in the three path inside the drifting pacesetter and prevailed in the final sixteenth. SAMURAI LEGACY sped to the lead shortly from the gate, opened a clear, comfortable lead through the turn, drifted out through the lane tiring and was caught inside the eighth pole in game effort. VELOCE unhurried in the early going to be near the rear, circled wide coming for home and made a steady rally down the lane to be up for the show. CON ON THE RUN tracked the leaders to the head of the stretch and lacked a closing rally finishing evenly. EXTRA MEDIUM raced mid-pack down the backstretch, rallied from five wide briefly on the turn to contention and flattened out in the drive. GUACO broke a step tardy to be at the rear of the field and never posed a threat. OLDZFOURFORTYTWO was not a factor.
