Chart notes
DOMINANT STRANGER stalked the pacesetter to the turn, gradually reeled that tiring one in, cut the corner turning for home while talking command, opened a clear advantage in upper stretch and held well through the lane. RUNAWAY BREEZE reserved off the pace near the rear of the pack, rallied leaving the quarter pole with a steady gain to be up for the place on the wire. WILD LOOKER tracked the leaders from the inside saving ground and rallied up the fence in the lane to just miss the place. DOWN TO EARTH well placed on the turn gaining striking position, chased the winner in upper stretch and flattened out in the final eighth. STELLARATOR was a bit unprepared at the start, breaking awkwardly and was never a threat from there. TUDOR PEAK sped to a clear lead to the turn, drifted out on the bend tiring and gave way through the lane.
