Chart notes
PEPPERMINT CANDY broke on top, vied out of the chute and into the first turn three wide, dueled up the backstretch off the inside, shook off the other speed far turn, turned back the runner up soon after and steadily increased advantage to the wire while being kept to pressure. HE'S ALL EARS behind the first flight down the stretch the first time, moved out, four wide first turn, asked along midway up the backstretch, closer then challenged outside the winner second turn, proved no match through the stretch. PASS LINE moved up to vie between horses down the stretch the first turn, dueled inside the winner, could not keep pace with than one the final quarter, narrowly managed to save the show. SWORD OF GOLD lacked speed, displayed a mild amount of late interest, not enough late for the show. FRIGERATOR five wide into the first turn, had little for the stretch run. SMACKZILLA flashed some brief speed along the inside, was finished before a half, continued to fade stretch. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time.
