Chart notes
GOOD TEMPER dictated terms while well in hand in the two path around the turn, got collared by an outer bidder entering the lane, fought on after being headed in upper stretch, battled doggedly through the final furlong and narrowly prevailed. GOWELLS DELIGHT stalked outside of the leader and from the three path, ranged up under coaxing to bid entering the lane, forged an advantage in upper stretch, but failed to kick away, dueled with her inner persistent counterpart through the final furlong and got outfinished. LADY ORIENT chased along the inside, saved ground before claiming show from an outer foe entering the lane and failed to threaten the top pair. GOOD LONG CRY pursued from the three path and tired. CLASSIC APPEAL trailed along the inside, came under urging with a half mile to go, took the turn in the four path and showed little.
