Chart notes
EL MAGNIFICO showed the way in the two path, then in the three path as an outer rival sustained pressure around the far turn, shook free in upper stretch and drove clear. WARRIOR RICHARD checked slightly while inside of rivals passing teh wire for the first turn, settled into stalking stride into the first turn, tipped outside of the top pair and to the five path turning for home, inched forward to take aim entering the lane, but only managed to chase his clearing stable-mate in upper stretch, edged place in midstretch and held from an inner challenger late. GUN PARTY tossed his head leaving the gate, saved ground off of the pace, ran on along the inside while hanging on his left lead to issue a bid for place at the sixteenth pole, but missed at the wire. REAL MEN VIOLIN pressed the leader from the three path into the backstretch, then from the four path around the far turn, but gave way in upper stretch and yielded. RUN QUIET RUN FAST raced off of the pace two wide and failed to factor. WELAKA trailed along the inside, came under strong urging in the two path with a half mile to go, but lacked a response and got outrun.
