Chart notes
NO EASY ANSWER stalked the pace two wide to the turn, dueled DAKOTA SPRINGS to the quarter marker then battled into the stretch, shook free at the furlong grounds then drew away in the final sixteenth. PRUSSIAN BLUE settled while saving ground in the early going, maintained a rail trip to the stretch, could not impact the winner into the final sixteenth but finished well late and got up in time to earn the place honors. DAKOTA SPRINGS showed good early speed and set a prompted pace to the turn, met the bid of NO EASY ANSWER at the quarter marker, drifted to the two path into the lane, could not keep pace with the winner past mid-stretch then was nailed in the final strides for the place and held safely for the show. NAIL POLISH well placed in the early stages, tracked the pace three to four wide to upper stretch then could not muster the needed late response. PEACE OUT unhurried early on, gained ground two wide into the stretch then flattened out. EARLY FROST allowed to settle, chased four wide into upper stretch then did not threaten in the final furlong. THUNDER BOSS bobbled then took up at the start then did not factor.
