Chart notes
WISH FOR PEACE always close to the pace, was roused two wide into the far turn, took command into the stretch then drew off under steady late urging. STRAWBERRY TREAT broke alertly, set the modest pace to the backstretch, came under pressure from WISH FOR PEACE nearing the quarter marker, was no match for the winner in the stretch drive and held safely for second. DEBATE settled off of the leading pair, then lacked the needed response in the stretch. MY REDEMPTION was off slowly, never was a factor and was declared a non-starter. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE START INVOLVING MY REDEMPTION AND DETERMINED THAT RUNNER WAS STILL BEING HELD WHEN THE GATE OPENED AND RULED MY REDEMPTION TO BE DECLARED A NON-STARTER.
