CONTACT TRACING settled in good position and tracked two wide up the backstretch, launched a three wide bid approaching the quarter pole, took over the lead in the upper stretch and drew off under firm handling. WHISKEY WEDNESDAY stalked the early pace along the inside, hustled along the rail around the far turn, tipped two wide for the drive, was no match for pulling away winner but sustained bid and got a nose up late to capture place. FIRE BRYAN set a pressured pace around the first turn, continued under pressure into the backstretch, shook clear entering the far turn, held firm along the inside, came under a ride turning for home, got collared by the eventual winner, steadily weakened and got nipped for place. ITWASTHISBIG pressed the pace around the first turn and into the backstretch, could not match strides nearing the final turn, ran on three wide into the upper stretch, kept under steady urging and narrowly missed out on runner up spots. AHEADOFTHEGAME raced in the back throughout.
