Chart notes
INSENSITIVE was allowed to settle around the first turn and continued to rate just off the pace up the backstretch, edged a bit closer still in hand mid-way around the final turn, given cue three wide at the head of the lane, took control past upper stretch, remained confidently handled and kept clear. BROKEN HEARTS BAY was forwardly placed along the rail heading into the first turn, then settled back and rated off the early pace, angled out late on the backstretch, hustled along four wide into the upper stretch, showed good response and cleared second best. BOW DRAW advanced out of the first turn to apply pressure to MISS PEACH, vied outside of rival past the half mile marker, continued to duel around the far turn, was no match in the upper stretch but kept on for a share. MISS PEACH led the way in the opening quarter, dueled inside of BOW DRAW up the backstretch and around the final turn, shook free to briefly hold a slim lead, got overtaken by the winner nearing the eighth pole and flattened out. OUR DAVINA stumbled badly at the start and trailed the field, saved ground, showed interest two wide in the stretch and gained some ground. MARSHSIDE MAMA was forwardly placed up the backstretch, weakened around the far turn and continued to tire in the drive.
