Chart notes
FAITH ALONE was allowed to settle out of the gate, rated off the pace near the inside up the backstretch, angled out and picked up the tempo mid-way around the turn, given cue right handed entering the top of the lane, responded gamely, steadily edged up closer and wore down the leader late. HALINA'S FORTE was away in good order and tracked the top pair up the backstretch, engaged three deep for the lead approaching the quarter pole, hustled along into the upper stretch, held a slim lead with a furlong left to run, edged ahead under firm handling then got denied in final strides. CHARLEE MAE raced off the pace, came four wide into the upper stretch, responded under right handed pressure and finished with good response. STONE COLD LOVER vied inside of TALKIN TIPSY for the early lead, was ridden along the rail and took on the challenge of HALINA'S FORTE late on the turn, remained in striking distance into the final furlong then yielded late. TALKIN TIPSY dueled for the early lead, briefly shook free mid-turn then retreated near the quarter pole and vanned off after the race.
