Chart notes
BAKERSFIELD AFFAIR set a pressured pace to the turn, drew off for a clear lead and held safely while kept to task. EITHERINORINTHEWAY lagged early in an outside trip, closed steadily and gained late to narrow the gap. DARK PASSENGER raced far back early, put in a steady effort and got up late for show while no threat to the top two. HOLMDEL HORNET was slow early, dropped inside to save ground, lacked a bid and did not threaten. DAZZLE ME DAWN pressed the pace two across while racing in hand, dropped back on the turn and gave way. FLAT OUTTA AUSTIN settled off the pace, failed to respond and was outrun.
