Chart notes
KYSTONE raced close to the pace four wide, rallied on the turn, closed steadily under mild left handed urging, got up past the eighth pole and drew clear. EXAMINER pressed the pace along the inside, bid along the rail on the turn, assumed command, inched away, came up empty late and was outclosed to finish second best. VICTORIA'S CHIEF was off a step slowly, trailed the field, bid five wide entering the stretch and finished well to get up for show. READYTOTAPNSING set the pace to the turn, fought back when headed, came up empty late and was outfinished for third. HE'S A SAINT dropped inside to save ground, bid along the rail on the turn and lacked the needed rally. HOLY EMPEROR stalked the pace three wide to the turn, gave way and dropped back steadily.
